Headquartered in Fenton, MI, Probity Services LLC provides public school transportation services for regular education and special needs students for Oakland and Genesee County Schools. Our company is spearheaded by a veteran in student transportation, Debra Mentier, who has over 22 years of experience as Transportation Supervisor for Holly Area School District.
Our focus is to provide safe, reliable, cost effective, and dedicated transportation services. We continually improve the quality of our operations and pride ourselves on maintaining a positive work environment for our staff.
Our staff possesses the knowledge and compassion required to care for today’s students. Our drivers and attendants receive extensive training on individual district and company policies. Each staff member is required to have the necessary license endorsements, pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting) and drug test, and must maintain a pristine driving record. To ensure your students needs are met, each member of our staff is trained around each student’s needs. In addition to our drivers, we accommodate those students that require an attendant. Beyond providing the driver a second pair of eyes, our attendants help safely load and unload students, and ensure critical backup support throughout the school year.
We transport students in vans and SUVs. Each vehicle is adapted to meet the needs of our students. This includes child car seats, boosters, safety harnesses or any other safety equipment that may be requested by your school. Our fleet is being maintained by local licensed mechanics at their facilities. In case of a break down, additional vehicles are maintained for back up support. All of our vehicles are fully insured, including excessive liability coverage.
The high cost of transporting those few students on a particular route can be astronomical, for any district. Depending on the service, Probity Services has been able to transport students for less than $2.00/mile. Student attendants are available for an additional fee.
